The ANTARCTIC SUIT

We collaborated with the non-profit organization UNLESS and D-Air Lab, a newCo of Dainese group for the realization of the Antarctic Suit.

The Antarctic suit was launched to offer scientists and researchers working in extreme environments an innovative clothing solution able to protect them effectively from the wind and cold without restricting their freedom of movement.

The Antarctic Suit, an “Intelligent Suit”, comprising an under suit offering active temperature and moisture management, and an outer shell providing insulation and weather protection.

The undersuit and outer shell “work in dialogue” to provide maximum comfort.

For the inner layered protection we studied a special sandwich construction with 3 of our paddings:

• NATIVA SILK PAD heat radiation, reflective element
