Imbotex Lab and the SASHIKO JACKET by Kengo Kuma

Sashiko Jacket was born from a meeting between Kengo Kuma, one of the most prominent Japanese architects, and Roberto Giordani, founder and leader of the Montura company.

Kengo Kuma- Sashiko Jacket

It’s a special and limited edition jacket, born in the year of Tokyo Olympics. Every single element of Sashiko Jacket was researched with attention and dedication to craftsmanship, employing the best manufacturing techniques and characteristic ergonomic solutions. Unique, high-quality raw materials were selected through strict lab tests.

CAMELUXE BY IMBOTEX LAB

We are honored to say that the special padding used in the Sashiko Jacket is CAMELUXE by Imbotex Lab. Cameluxe is based on upcycling, an eco-friendly process that recovers scrap fabrics made with camelhair fibres and uses a symbiotic production chain used in the manufacture of the iconic Max Mara coats.

This project also wants to launch a message of union and solidarity. The jacket will in fact have limited availability (83 + 83 jackets) and the proceeds will be divided between two solidarity projects: WE – Women’s Eye and Ger for Life.
